Junko Tonami (砺波 順子, Tonami Junko) is a minor character. She is the girl who sits next to Kenji Harima as she is seen during the scenes where Harima attempts to tell Tenma Tsukamoto to put her name on her test.
Overview[]
Junko's first appearance is in Season 2 Episode 2 where she takes part in the survival game, and she is picked off fairly early. She isn't shown many times afterwards, and she acts as the narrator for the class play in Season 2.
In the Survival Game, Junko is on the Cafe Faction, and she appears as the narrator in the Class Play during the Cultural Festival, cosplaying as Saber from Fate/Stay Night.
Etymology[]
- The name Junko means "obedience" (順) (jun) and "child" (子) (ko).
- Junko's surname Tonami means "rough grindstone, brush up" (砺) (to) and "wave, breaker" (波) (nami).
