Changes: Class 2-C

Class 2-C is one of the six classes for second year students at Yagami High School. 2-C includes a large number of the characters of School Rumble, and the majority of events within the storyline occur during the year that this particular class is together. The class' homeroom teacher is Tani Hayato. 2-C has an overall reputation for being unruly and not academically talented, although there are several good students within the class.

Represenatives

2-C is represented by Haruki Hanai and Ootsuka Mai. Hanai commands more respect than Mai from his classmates and thus tends to take a leading role in discussions. Mai covers for him while he is gone, and usually has trouble getting the class to pay attention to her.

Rivalries

Due to hostilities between some of their students and even their homeroom teachers, Classes 2-C and 2-D became rivals during the School Sports Festival. Later in the series, some of the 2-D students befriend some of those in 2-C and start to hang out with them. 2-C is not shown to really interact with the other four classes in their year.
